Welcome to the McLean in Italy 2011 blog!  McLean will be spending a week in Italy during our spring break.  15 students along with 4 chaperones will be navigating the ancient streets of Cortona, Florence, Rome, and Naples.  The purpose of this blog will be to document our adventures in these cities.  Students will be responsible for making one blog entry during the trip.  They will use all of their descriptive writing abilities to capture the essence of the Eternal City and its outlying neighbors.  These entries will accompany many pictures and videos.  Blog entries will be posted multiple times each day that we are in Italy.  There will be a two day delay between where we are and what we post, so do not stress if you do not see an entry until the second or third day of our trip.  I hope to make this blog a living scrapbook for each student’s journey in Italy and digitally preserve the memories we create.
